RSS Captor Lite Features
RSS Captor Lite is easy-to-use client for reading RSS feeds.
Features
- Support of 0.9, 0.91, 0.92, 0.93, 0.94 and 2.0 version of RSS Standard.
- RSS Captor Lite requires NO .NET or any other run-time libraries. So you have not to download and install 22Mb package.
- RSS Captor Lite contains the list of most popular RSS feeds such as New Your Times and LA Times.
- RSS Captor Lite can automatically reload RSS feeds so you'll always have the newest messages.
- RSS Captor Lite is distributed as "free-to-use" software (freeware).
Absent features
RSS Captor Lite does not have some features of Pro version. These features are:
- RSS Captor Lite does not keep all messages - newest only;
- RSS Captor Lite has no HTTP-proxy support;
- RSS Captor Lite has no sound notification if new messages have been receives;
System requirements
To run RSS Captor Lite your computer must meet the following requirements:
- processor: Intel Pentium at least 200 MHz, AMD K5/K6 at least 200 MHz or higher;
- memory: at least 32 Mb;
- free space on hard disk: at least 2 Mb for RSS Captor itself and 15-20 Mb for future downloads;
- video: at least VGA;
- input devices: keyboard and mouse or other pointing device;
- sound devices: not required;
- operating system: Microsoft® Windows® 98, Microsoft® Windows® ME, Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or Microsoft® Windows® XP;
